| Big real estate projects blossom in western Hanoi |

A line-up of office, housing and trade office complex projects in the western Hanoi are visible, proving that big real estate projects are blossoming in My Dinh area of the capital city Prominent among these is Dolphin Plaza housing, office and trade centre complex with the total cost of 600 billion dong (US$35million) invested by the joint venture of TID, PetroVietnam Finance Corp and PVFC Land, a 25 storey apartment tower linking a 25-storey office building and three basements with the total floor area of 55,000 square metres, which is expected to finish by 2011 end. In addition, the Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Corp (UDIC) also broke ground on three buildings at Tran Duy Hung St, Hanoi. A joint venture between UDIC, Industrial Construction Joint Stock Co (ICC), Hanoi Urban Architecture Consulting Joint Stock Co (UAC) and Invencon International Trading and Consulting Joint Stock Co (INVENCON) has invested in the project. The work covers an area of 4,900 square metres, including three buildings, three basements, 536 apartments designed from Floor 7 to Floor 29, about 29,400 square metres at Floor 1 to 6 for trade centre and offices. As planned, the project will come into operation by June 2011. Indochina Land is building a complex with the total floor area of 124,489 square metres including a 30-storey apartment building, a 25-storey building, and a 15-storey office building at Xuan Thuy St. The construction will be completed by 2011. Moreover, some other projects such as Cau Giay Plaza, Nettra (opposite to My Dinh Station) in Pham Hung St, Orix in Lang Hoa Lac St will be started next year. |
